Hey Bloggers -

Here is part 2 of the 8 part series for May:

The first card was made with an A2 card cut from Raspberry Cardstock.

1.Cut a piece or Raspberry Cardstock 8.5" x 5.5" - score at 4.25" so that your card folds in half and you now have a base that is 5.5"x4.25".
2.Cut the coordinating mat from the Simply Beautiful MIlestones Kit down to 5.25"x4" and mat on the front of the card.
3.Attach a pink and white flower to the matching flower on the patterned paper using Foam Adhesive.
4.Tape a tape to the top right hand corner and adorn with yellow butterfly sticker.

The second card was made with and A2 card from Green Apple Cardstock.

1.Cut a piece of Green Apple Cardstock to 8.5"x5.5" - score at 4.25" so that your card folds in half, giving you a card base that is 5.5" x4.25".
2.Trim a piece of Mediterranean Cardstock down to 5.25"x4" and adhere to the front of the card.
3.Trim down the Green Journaling page from the Simply Beautiful Milestones Kit down to approx 5"x3.75" and adhere to the center of the blue cardstock.
4.Cut off a piece of the grey paper ribbon from the Simply Beautiful Paper Ribbons - cut approx. 2.5" - 3". Snip the ribbon in half and adhere to the front and back of the top of the large grey and green circle tag. You want it to look like the ribbon is going through the whole of the tag.
5.Tape down the tag to the front of your card.
6.Embellish the upper left part of the tag with 2 yellow flowers and 1 white flower. I used tape for the 2 yellow flowers and foam adhesive for the white flower right between the yellow flowers.
7.For the finishing touch, put a green epoxy dot sticker over the ribbon on your tag and the blue and brown square sticker in the lower right corner of your card.

These 2 cards are quick and easy and can be finished in 10 minutes.

You can also watch me make these cards to see just how easy they are!

Re-Post - Club Create Project Part 1 - Tutorial Kick-off

Hey Bloggers,

Creative Memories celebrated National Scrapbook Day this weekend and I had a blast with my upline Luara Barnett at Judy's Happy House. I spent the weekend designing cards for our first ever Club Create. I am so excited!

Our first project is a beautiful set of 16 cards featuring goodies from the Simply Beatiful Collection. Now, this is not the Simply Beautiful Card project - it's sold out and I wanted this to be something a little different. To create the cards in this project you will need flower, ribbons, and tags from Simply Beautiful, the Simply Beautiful Milestones Kit, and the Cardstock (Mediteranean, Grape, Green Apple, and Raspberry). Cards can be purchased at any office supply store. I will unveil 4 cards per week with instructions and a link to an insructional video so please come back often to see the next project.

Our first set of cards:

Supplies:

12x12 Cardstock - Raspberry and Green Apple
Simply Blooms Epoxy Sticker
Simply Beautiful Tags
Simply Beautiful Milestones Kit

Instructions:
1.Cut theRaspberry and Green Apple Cardstock down into a 8.5"x5.5" cards and fold in half. This will create your A2 card measuring 4.25x 5.5.

For the Green Card:
1.For the Green Apple Card, take the Orange decorated paper from the Milestones Kit cut down to 4"x5.25" and adhere to the front of the card.
2.Attach the Green and Yellow Tag to the front.
3.Attach Orange Butterfly just below the tag.

For the Raspberry Card:
1.Take a blue patterned piece of paper from the Milestones Kit and cut down to 5.5". Tear a 1/2 inch or so off each side and adhere to the center of the Raspberry Card.
2.Attach the Pink and Grey tag using Foam Adhesive.
3.Attach the blue dots and pink dot from the Epoxy Stickers to the bottom of the card and a blue butterfly to the top of the tag.

You can also watch the video to see just how quick and easy it really is:

Moving Day!

Well, I am back to my familiar friend - Blogspot. How I have missed you!!

I tried Typepad, but it is truly for the serious blogger...and that, I am trying to be, but it's still a lot to learn. I found their site just over my head. Now I'm back to blogger with a new blog and hopefully a new look. This place is definitely a work in progress. I'll be spending the next week getting all the posts from the old blog over here. Once it's all done I'll be sure to let my friends and family know.

Until then, Happy Blogging, and welcome home Jessi Myers!
