Happy Monday - Thank You Challenge!

Hi Bloggers!

It is Monday and only 1 and 1/2 weeks til Thanksgiving!  I know I am excited - we have a lot to be thankful for this year.

Monday also means a New Challenge at Paper Therapy!  We had a blast with last week's ad challenge, but it was a tough challenge.  This week, with Thanksgiving looking so close, Kristin, our fearless leader wanted to challenge everyone to create a Thank you card or Layout expressing Thankfulness.
I designed a super cute Thank You Card using Making Memories Noteworthy Embelishments and Cardstock from my stash:
I also wanted to use this week's challenge to try out a technique I haven't used in a long time - Watermark Patterned Paper.  I trimmed down the pink cardstock to slightly smaller than my base card and stamped it with watermark ink - I love the tone on tone look you get.  Then I punched the edges with my Fiskars Threading Water border punch.  Then I glued a glittered frame to cardstock and cut around the edge, and inside the frame to show a small border inside and out.  I spelled out Thank You with Making Memories with glitter letters and then used a glue dot to adhere the glittered die cut flower to the edge of the frame.  I love the look that the watermark ink has on cardstock...it always amazes me.

Supplies used:
Card Base: Seafoam - Paper Source
Pink Cardstock - American Crafts
Fiskars Border Punch - Threading Water
Clear Stamps - Basic Grey
Watermark Ink Pad
Die Cut Frame and Flower - Making Memories - Noteworthy
Glitter Letter Stickers- Making Memories

Our Design Team really rocked this challenge out too!  You should go check it out, and definitely feel free to come and play!  Be sure to check us out!
I hope you have a great week and I can't wait to see what you create this week!  And stay tuned - next week I'll have a special treat for 2 lucky readers - but you have to come back to see what's going on.  :)
